2012 – 2013

Season 2012 – 2013, our first season at our new Broadwood home saw the clubs continued growth and development.  The club cemented itself a one of the country’s major grassroots football clubs when the Scottish FA awarded the club the Quality Mark Legacy Award, the first in the country to receive this accolade.  There was a number of contributing factors to this none less than the community engagement programmes delivered: the establishment of a Disability Section, After School Centre, Mini-kickers group as well as a number of school driven initiatives.   To celebrate this fantastic achievement  John Collins ex Scotland star took time-out to visit the club.

The clubs new Ladies team set the standard on the pitch with a terrific start to the season in the SWF Division 1, their success was the catalyst for the creations of a number of female sections from U9’s through to U15’s.  The male sections again continued to grow with new 2007’s and 2008’s sections being formed.

Our U15’s and U21’s excelled, the U15’s winning the C&KDYL and League Cup with the U21’s bagging the LYFA League Cup and Challenge Cup.   Our annual European tour saw our U15’s travel to Italy for a six day tour, a fantastic time was had by all who attended.
